Dramatic police chase in Western Sydney; officer found unconscious in Bidwill
A man has been arrested after a police officer was found unconscious in a Western Sydney street on Friday night. In a separate incident, dramatic footage of a police chase has emerged.

A man has been arrested after a dramatic police chase through peak-hour traffic in Sydney’s west.
A white car was seen racing past traffic on a residential median strip as more than five police cars pursued it through bumper-to-bumper traffic.
The chase began about 5.25pm at Portico Pde, Toongabbie, until the car was dumped at Hill End Rd, Doonside.
A spokesperson for NSW police said one man was arrested and another was on the run.
Meanwhile, in what is believed to be an unrelated incident, about 6pm a female officer was found unresponsive on Bunya Rd, Bidwill.
The officer, a 23-year-old female attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command, was treated at the scene by first responders and NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being transported to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
A second female officer, age 22, was also treated at the scene and was taken to Mount Druitt Hospital as a precaution.
A 19-year-old man was arrested by police at the scene and taken to Mt Druitt Police Station, before being taken to Nepean Hospital.
It is believed that the two female police officers were responding to a mental health incident when the assault occurred.
Inquiries are ongoing.
