Dozens of children were evacuated off their school bus moments before it exploded into flames in Sydney’s west on Friday morning.
Emergency services were called to Weston St in Revesby just before 8.50am after reports a bus had been engulfed in flames.
The bus driver and teachers worked swiftly to escort the 39 schoolchildren off the vehicle before fire spread through the vehicle.
All passengers were examined by paramedics and cleared of any injury.
Fire and Rescue crews were quick to respond with their officers extinguishing the fire in just over ten minutes.
The Hazardous Materials Response Unit attended to the scene and siphoned off all of the remaining fuel left in the bus which was destroyed by the inferno.
Fire investigators are working to find the origin and cause of the blaze.
