A man was allegedly found hiding in a garbage bin after leading police on a wild pursuit through Sydney on Friday night.
About 9.15pm last night, Traffic and Highway Patrol officers were breath-testing drivers on Dacey Ave, Moore Park.
During the operation, police directed the driver of a sedan to stop for a random breath test.
When the driver - 20-year-old Aboubacar Drame - allegedly failed to stop as directed by police, a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued until the sedan stopped on Epsom Rd, Zetland, and the driver allegedly ran away.
Police allegedly found Drame hiding in a garbage bin in a building nearby.
As well as allegedly leading police on a chase, police claim he was also disqualified, and reached dangerous speeds.
He was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with four offences, including police pursuit, exceed speed more than 45km/h and drive while disqualified.
The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Saturday.
