Comanchero bikie boss Tarek Zahed has been seen for the first time since he was shot ten times in May, showing off the remarkable recovery he has made from the attack that claimed the life of his brother.
Zahed smirked and held up a finger as he posed next to the bikie gang’s new national president Allan Meehan in Melbourne over the weekend, with the photo posted to the latter’s Instagram on Sunday night.
“Welcome back Tarek ‘hard2kill’ Zahed,” Meehan captioned the photo.
Meehan crouched with his arm around Zahed, who was wearing sunglasses and a stylish Fendi jumper.
At the other end of the table, giving the camera the middle finger, was Comanchero associate Mohamad “Almo” Alameddine.
The photo is the public’s first glimpse at the Comanchero’s sergeant at arms since he was last seen lying in a pool of blood on the floor of Bodyfit gym in Auburn on Tuesday, May 10.
That attack claimed the life of Zahed’s brother and fellow Comanchero, Omar.
While the infamous bikie escaped that attempted assassination with his life, he was left blind in one eye and with serious damage to other parts of his body, requiring ongoing surgeries.
He is understood to have been released from a Sydney hospital in July before shifting down to Melbourne.
Zahed was in the middle of moving to Melbourne in January to break free of the control order NSW police had him under, which restricted his ability to take care of bikie business.
