Lingerie model, reality TV star and ex-NRL WAG Arabella Del Busso will fight charges arising from allegations she stole tens of thousands of dollars from her former employer in the local court next year.
The former partner of then-Wests Tigers player Josh Reynolds was charged in July with two counts of stealing property from an employer following an investigation by St George Police.
Police allege in court documents that Del Busso stole $35,785 from Rheumatology Specialist Care in Kogarah – now known as Integrated Specialist Medical Care – between September 2019 and February 2020.
Police further allege Del Busso stole $16,565 from the clinic’s Randwick location over the same period.
Del Busso pleaded not guilty to both charges in August and will face a one-day hearing at Sutherland Local Court on June 3 next year.
It is understood Del Busso was previously a receptionist for the Integrated Specialist Medical Care’s clinics in Kogarah and Randwick.
She is now based in Melbourne and has not previously been required to attend court since the charges were laid due to the NSW and Victoria Covid lockdowns.
On its website, Integrated Specialist Medical Care describes itself as a “team of dedicated specialists specialising in the management of inflammatory joint disorders, neurological conditions and diseases and disorders of the kidneys”.
Del Busso burst into the limelight during her high-profile relationship with NRL player Josh Reynolds.
Their relationship broke down when Reynolds was charged with allegedly assaulting Del Busso during a domestic incident – but the charges were later dropped in February 2020.
Del Busso is not subject to bail conditions prior to her next court appearance.
