An alleged member of western Sydney gang OneFour has been charged over a wild stabbing in July that saw a man allegedly attacked with a machete on Oxford St.
Frank Bosco, 21, was arrested in the Sydney CBD on Friday night three months after the confrontation outside a popular nightclub left one man bleeding on the pavement.
Bosco was taken into police custody at Surry Hills police station about 7pm and charged with cause grievous bodily harm with intent to murder, wounding in company and affray.
Police allege Bosco and two other men approached a 25-year-old man armed with knives on the party district on July 29 and stabbed him multiple times.
When a 34-year-old good Samaritan attempted to help, he too was allegedly bashed and left with severe injuries.
CCTV vision from the night showed the chaotic scenes as the man was stabbed in front of dozens of shocked onlookers outside Noir Sydney about 3am.
The footage showed two men sprinting through a crowd and into the victims before as the violent melee takes place.
Both men were seriously injured with the younger man having to be driven to St Vincent’s Hospital by friends before being treated.
OneFour, based out of Mount Druitt, have been in open conflict for years with other street gangs around western Sydney including “Inner West”.
It comes after two men, including a 21-year-old from Queensland, were charged over the stabbing in September.
The other man, 18, was arrested in Lalor Park.
Bosco was refused police bail and is due to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.
