Operation Ironside: NSW people charged in AN0M police sting and their suburbs

From Vaucluse to Marsden Park, Maroubra to Mudgee, see the list of dozens of NSW residents charged in the Operation Ironside police sting.

The sting of the century

Dozens of people from NSW have been arrested in the major police sting Operation Ironside.

Here’s a list of people from NSW including where they’re from and what they have been charged with.

Mapping of the arrests showed they spread out broadly from Sydney’s most exclusive suburbs to the city’s west, as well as into rural towns.

Those arrested have been hit with a range of charges, including having a Lamborghini bought with the proceeds of crime, drug trafficking, money laundering and participating in a criminal organisation.

More court appearances are expected relating to Operation Ironside.

Zekrullah Adib

Aged 24 from Regents Park. Charged on December 13 with six offences including possessing cocaine, proceeds of crime less than $100,000 and four counts of importing a commercial quantity of cocaine. The operation involved the NSW Crime Commission and NSW Police Organised Crime Squad and police will alleged in court that he is responsible for the importation of more than 55 kgs of cocaine worth an estimated $24 million. He was refused bail at Central Local Court to appear at Parramatta Local Court on February 18.

Thomas Walsh

Aged 32 from Beacon Hill. Charged on December 13 with possessing a commercial quantity of cocaine, taken to be for supply. Police allegedly seized approximately 3kg of white powder and a bulk press containing traces of cocaine. Refused bail at Central Local Court. Due to appear before CLC on February 8.

Daniele Lavermicocca

Aged 35 from Seaforth. The alleged business associate of Walsh. Was charged on December 13 with supplying a prohibited drug (mushrooms) and possessing MMDA and LSD. Also charged eith possessing steroids and identification information to facilitate the commission of an indictable offence. Refused bail at Manly Local Court. Due to appeal at Manly on February 10.

Anusha Mukdadilok

Aged 38 of Barangaroo. Charged on December 14 with trafficking commercial quantities of drugs and dealing in he proceeds of crime, money or property worth $1 million or more. Police will allege in court that he has links to Asian organised crime and facilitated the handover of 10 kgs of crystal meth in Sydney to be shipped to Adelaide in April 2020. NSW Police arrested a truck driver at the time with $2.75 million cash alleged to be the proceeds of the sale of the meth. He was released on bail to aear at Central Local Court on December 22.

Mang Ho

Aged 43 from Kirawee. Arrested on December 14 and charged with seven counts of importing commercial quantities of border controlled drugs after he allegedly facilitated several importations of methamphetamine and heroin from Hong Kong in June 2021. He was refused bail at Sutherland Court and is due to appear at Sutherland on February 15.

Luke Andreou

Aged 31 from Horsley Park. Charged with money-laundering offences, and possessing drugs and firearms. Police laid a fresh charge on December 14 of supplying a prohibited firearm. Granted conditional bail. Last appeared at Wollongong Local Court on December 15.

Yusuf Ayik

Aged 20 from Brighton-Le-Sands. Police allege that Ayik was involved in the supply of 1192g of methamphetamine on May 14 this year and he has been charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs. Bail refused. Due to appear at CLC on February 2 for charge certification.

Brian Anthony Blackman

Aged 51 from Maroubra. Charged with import commercial quantity of cocaine, proceeds of crime, conspiracy to import cocaine, and associate in support of serious organised criminal activity. Bail refused at Waverley Local Court.

Hakan Calason

Aged 37 from Carlton. Charged with conspiracy to import marketable quantity of cocaine. Bail refused by Sutherland Local Court. Due to appear at CLC on February 2 for charge certification.

Michael Clark

Aged 35 from Kingston, ACT. Charged with supply indictable quantity of a prohibited drug, two counts of conspiracy to supply a prohibited firearm, participation in a criminal group and detention application.

William Clift

Aged 36 from Redfern. Charged with being an accessory before the fact supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity), accessory before the fact supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity), accessory before the fact (possess commercial quantity unlawful import (border controlled drug), dishonestly obtain property by deception and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity. Bail not applied for and officially refused at Newtown Local Court. Due to appear at CLC on January 27 for charge certification.

Tishan David

Aged 36 from East Hills. Charged with importing commercial quantity drugs. Refused bail by Bankstown Court. Due to appear before Central Local Court on December 22.

Ayhan Bilal Dogan

Aged 23 from Brighton-Le-Sands. Charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug and importing a marketable quantity of a border controlled drug. Bail not applied for and officially refused by Central Local Court. Due to appear at CLC on February 2 for charge certification.

John Allan Filipaina

Aged 27. Charged with possessing unlawfully imported meth. Bail not applied for an officially refused by Hornsby Local Court. Due to appear at Central Local Court on December 22 for charge certification.

John William Filipe

Aged 39 from Bardia. Charged with importing commercial quantity of a drug and direct activities of a criminal group. Refused bail by Liverpool Local Court. Last appeared before Central Local Court on December 8.

Jarrod Patrick Gallagher

Aged 40 from Randwick. Charged with dealing with proceeds of crime more than $1 million. Direct activities to aid a criminal enterprise, import commercial quantity of cocaine. Refused bail by Waverley Local Court.

Eric Martin Grunnet

Aged 51, from Darling Point. Qantas baggage handler charged with importing commercial quantity of drugs. Refused bail by Central Local Court. Last appeared before CLC on December 8.

Arron Hyde

Aged 39 from Eudlo, Queensland. Charged with supply drug large commercial quantity. Released on conditional bail by Tweed Heads Local Court.

Min Jung

Aged 47 from Glebe. Charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, dealing with the and conspire commit offence under Division 2 and possess prohibited drug. Refused bail by Newtown Local Court. Due to appear at CLC on January 27 for charge certification.

Bandu Crispin Kwabo

Aged 23. Charged with Import commercial quantity drugs and possess commercial quantity of drugs. Refused bail by Newcastle Local Court. Last appeared before Newcastle Local Court on December 8.

Edward George “Etu” Lavulo

Aged 32 from Marsden Park. Charged with dealing with the proceeds of crime after police took possession of the two sports bags – and another $500,000 allegedly found in a suitcase in a vehicle. Also import commercial quantity or border controlled drug. Granted conditional bail by Wollongong Local Court.

Judah Earl Lavulo

Aged 30 from Edmondson Park. Charged with proceeds of crime less than $100,000. Granted conditional bail by Parramatta Local Court.

Muhammad Maqsoodi

Aged 29 from Guildford. Charged with money laundering and proceeds of crime. Released on bail by Fairfield Local Court.

Michael Thomas Mate

Aged 32 from Ropes Crossing. Charged with money laundering and import commercial quantity of drugs. Refused bail by Mt Druitt Local Court. Last appeared before Central Local Court on December 8.

Christopher John Mealey

Aged 51. Charged with dealing with proceeds of crime.

Samuel Minkin

Aged 28. Charged with supply large commercial drug supply. Refused bail by Tweed Heads Court.

Mohenoa Okusitino

Aged 37 from North Gosford. Charged with importing commercial quantity border controlled drug. Refused bail by Gosford Local Court.

Houldarath Ouch

Aged 36 from Denham Court. Charged with 10 offences including supply prohibited drug. Granted conditional bail by Campbelltown Local Court.

Bradley Colin Peters

Aged 37 from Middleton Grange. Charged with 11 offences including possess unauthorised firearm, supply large commercial quantity of drugs. Bail refused by Liverpool Local Court. Last appeared before Campbelltown Local Court on December 8.

David John Potter

Charged with importing a commercial quantity of drugs. Last appeared before Central Local Court on December 1.

Ashley Rake

Aged 37 from Vaucluse. Charged with knowingly deal with proceeds of crime being a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2 Coupe DJE18S, publish false misleading material to obtain advantage, supply large quality of drugs and participate in a criminal group. Granted $2 million conditional bail by the Supreme Court on December 1. Due to appear at Waverley Local Court in January.

Andrew Paul Sankey

Aged 42. Charged with apprehension on warrant issued by another state. Refused bail by Central Local Court.

Brett Anthony Smith

Aged 48 from Maroubra. Charged with trafficking marketable quantity of drug, proceeds of crime. Refused bail by Central Local Court. Last appeared before CLC on December 1.

Christie Stuchbery

Aged 40 from of Enfield. Charged with supply prohibited drug (indictable offence), participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and two counts of conspire commit offence under Division 2. Refused bail by Newtown Local Court. Due to appear at Newtown Local Court on December 22.

Emmanuel Vamoukakis

Aged 40 from Mount Keira. Charged with conspiracy to import cocaine, directing a criminal group, dealing in proceeds of crime. Refused bail by Wollongong Court. Due to appear before Central Local Court on December 22 for charge certification.

David John Walker

Aged 35 from Mudgee. Charged with firearms offences, supply prohibited drug, deal with the proceeds of crime and deal or attempt to deal in protected animal. Refused bail by Mudgee Local Court. Due to apply for bail at Mudgee on December 21.

Elias Elchaar

Aged 49, from Wollongong. Police allege Elchaar headed a group which transported an unknown amount of methamphetamine from Sydney to Perth, and a crate with $8 million dollars from Perth to Sydney between April and June this year. Refused bail at Central Local Court.

Man, aged 24, from Middleton Grange. Served with a Court Attendance Notice to appear at Parramatta Court on February 9 charged with possessing prohibited drugs and fraud offences.

Man, aged 34, from Yagoona. Served with a Court Attendance Notice by Nation Gangs Squad investigators to appear at Parramatta Local Court on February 9 for allegedly dealing in money or property reasonably suspected of being proceeds of crime. Police will allege in court that he was given $10,000 in May 2021 by a Comanchero sergeant-at-arms who has also been charged under Operation Ironside.
