NSW’s most wanted: Bilal Haouchar with links to ex-bikie boss Mark Buddle

One of Sydney’s most violent men has rocketed to be NSW’s most wanted criminal after an arrest warrant was issued for Bilal Haouchar over the kidnapping of a man last year. Sources said Hauchar is known to have linked with Comanchero ex-boss Mark Buddle.

One of Sydney’s most violent men has rocketed to be NSW’s most wanted criminal after an arrest warrant was issued for Bilal Haouchar over the kidnapping of a man last year.

Law enforcement and underworld sources said Hauchar fled Australia last year and is known to have linked with former national president of the Comanchero bikie gang, Mark Buddle.

Police have arrested two men in relation to the kidnapping of a 44-year-old man in Merrylands last year where they claim the victim was punched to the ground and taken to the home of Haoucher in Blackwood Rd, Merrylands.

Heavily armed officers from Strikeforce Raptor arrested a 26-year-old man yesterday at Moorebank and charged him over the kidnapping.

They had previously arrested a 34-year-old Sefton man earlier this year.

“Our current inquiries are focused on locating 33-year-old, Bilal Haouchar, who is wanted on two outstanding warrants, including an arrest warrant for kidnapping, and breaching a community order,” said Det Superintendent Debbie Wallace, head of the Criminal gangs Unit.

“Strike Force Hackett detectives believe Mr Haouchar is overseas and will continue working closely with interstate and federal law enforcement agencies to find him.

“Anyone who knows him, or who has information that may be relevant to our inquiries is urged to make contact with investigators,” she said today.

Haoucher is believed to be living in Lebanon.

“He is linked to scores of crimes. if he doesn’t come back we will all be better off,’’ said a NSW detective who has followed his criminal career for a number of years.
