Former vice president of Nomads MC Moudi Tajjour calls for peace on Sydney’s streets

THE former vice president of the Nomads MC and cousin of Kings Cross identity John Ibrahim has delivered a message of peace to the city’s “gangsters” playing “God” with people’s lives.

Bikies in Australia: A short history

CONVICTED killer and former bikie boss Moudi Tajjour has pleaded with his underworld mates to put down their guns and pick up a cup of coffee.

Concerned by tit-for-tat violence between warring crime families which has resulted in four murders in two years, Tajjour called for a ceasefire in an erratically-spelt sermon delivered from the pulpit of Instagram.

Moudi Tajjour said he would rather be making money than going to war.

Referring to himself as the “Lebanese gangster Doctor Phil” he told gang rivals: “Don’t go to war over pathetic rubbish that could off (sic) been sorted with one sit down over the coffee. Life’s to (sic) short to be killing each other over nothing.”

The Nomads life member-turned self-styled pacifist did time in jail after being convicted in 2006 over the manslaughter of Robin Nassour, the brother of Fat Pizza actor George Nassour.

He said underworld figures needed to think twice before they do something they will regret.

“Is it really worth it over some gronk who is talking sh*t or some sad c**t who wants beef,” he wrote.

Having spent close to a decade of his adult life in jails around the world, he posted a picture of a prison cell and warned wannabe gangsters: “If u (sic) can’t handle being in a confined room for more than (sic) 23 hours, I suggest you put the gun down mannnnnnnn.”

The former Nomads vice-president, whose marriage to Salim Mehajer’s sister Sanaa, 22, ended on their Thai honeymoon this year, said starting trouble over a woman “who will leave you the moment you’re sentenced” was also incredibly shortsighted.

His lecture comes after two warring families have been decimated by murder or arrests.

Many members are either in jail or dead.

One Wally Ahmad, 41, was ironically gunned down while having coffee.

Tajjour’s brother-in-law, Salim Mehajer, is facing dangerous driving offences and breaching his bail on allegations he staged a car crash to avoid jail. His cousins are the Ibrahim family.

Tajjour and his brother, Nomads chief Sleiman Tajjour, were convicted over Mr Nassour’s manslaughter along with John Ibrahim’s brother Michael and a fourth man, Faouzi Abou-Jibal. Jibal was fatally shot in the back six months later.

A key suspect in the murder of Wally Ahmad was hitman Hamad Assaad, 29, who wore his job as “executioner” in a tattoo across his chest.

Assaad, who had himself taken to social media to complain about friends letting him down because the men of Sydney were “too busy waxing there (sic) eyebrows and coping (sic) anal beads,” was shot dead in 2016 as he walked from his Georges Hall house.

One of several suspects in the murder of Assaad, former Comanchero bikie club figure and Hells Angel associate Kemel “Blackie” Barakat was shot dead in his Mortlake home last year.
