Novak Djokovic secured a straight sets victory on Friday night, but he wasn’t finished there.
The Serbian superstar secured another one-sided win during his on-court interview after he wrapped up the 6-1 6-4 6-4 win over Tomas Machac.

While the scoreline reads as one-way traffic, Djokovic didn’t have it all his own way as he battled the crowd throughout the match that last just under two and a half hours.
Those within Rod Laver Arena threw their support behind the 26th seeded Czech, more in the hope of watching a longer contest unfold.
But as has long been the case throughout his career, when the support isn’t on his side the Serbian can become fiery.
With a few outbursts sprinkled in over the second and third set, the former world No. 1 pushed the anger aside as he enjoyed his post-match interview.
Then an incoherent heckler attempted to try to get one final jab in before the 24-time grand slam champ walked off the court.
Djokovic however, in good spirits, fired back and quickly shut the fan down with a six-word reply.
“Sorry mate, I have a wife,” he said.
The response drew widespread laughter from those in the stands before Djokovic extended the olive branch to have a drink with the heckler.
“We can have a drink though. Maybe you’ve had a few already?” he added.
“Him and I were going back and forth for quite a while actually, since...” he said, before the courtside interviewer prompted: “Should we set up a date?”
Djokovic replied: “Listen, I’m happy to have a drink with him now that the match is over, we can reflect nicely on what we’ve said to each other during the match.
“What were we talking about?”
While he delighted fans during his post-game interview, Djokovic was back to his ruthless best as he demolished Machac.
After bursting out of the blocks and racing away to secure the opening set in 36 minutes, Djokovic never looked back.
The win means Djokovic has advanced into the fourth round at the Australian Open for an absurd 17th time.
He’ll square off against 24th seeded Jiri Lehecka as he hunts down an 11th crown at Melbourne Park.
