FORMER tennis champion Jelena Dokic has revealed the harrowing and horrendous abuse she received from her father Damir Dokic.
In her explosive new book ‘Unbreakable’, Dokic has opened up about the alleged abuse she suffered from the day she picked up a tennis racket at age six.

“It basically started day one of me playing tennis,” Dokic told News Corp.
“It continued on from there. It spiralled out of control.”
In her book to Dokic reveals harrowing and graphic episodes of alleged abuse at the hands of her father including being whipped with his belt as a teen because of “a mediocre training session, a loss, a bad mood” and being spat in her face.
Dokic says she considered suicide after years of emotional and physical abuse.
Dokic’s book ‘Unbreakable’ also reveals her experiences as a refugee, living in poverty and the racism she suffered when they arrived in Australia in 1994.
