THE Sydney Uni Flames will have their mettle tested in what is expected to be the highlight of round eight on Friday night.

League leaders Bendigo Spirit hit the road to take on the Flames at home as the two sides match up for the second time this season.

Another top game of the round is excepted to be between Townsville Fire and Perth Lynx.

The Fire are desperate to end a losing streak while Lynx are keen to regain control of the competition ladder.
