Australian netballer Gabi Simpson says the new Suncorp #TeamGirls Cup pre-season tournament will provide the data for a crucial form guide for what she predicts will be the closest Super Netball season to date.
Simpson, who injured her hamstring on the Diamonds Quad Series tour in the UK earlier this month, said the new competition involving a series of shortened matches will provide invaluable information and match data to all eight teams competing.

All eight Super Netball teams will play across three days with two pools of four teams playing in a round-robin style format before going head-to-head with the opposing pool on the final day of play.
Each match will consist of 10-minute quarters and each team will play four matches over the three days.
