THREE rounds in and three teams now share the lead in the 2016/2017 W-League with two wins apiece.
The Jets have pride of place on top of the ladder ahead of Sydney FC and defending competition champions Melbourne City.
The Jets took top spot by downing the previously undefeated Perth Glory.

Newcastle Jets hit the top of the ladder thanks to their goal victory over Perth in their third game of the season.
The match was played out in front of 3650 and secured thanks to a Jen Hoy penalty.
The win followed on from the Jets rousing 4-0 win over Melbourne Victory last round.

Sydney FC snared second place on the league ladder with this victory over Melbourne Victory.
Alana Kennedy opened the scoring for Sydney FC with Remy Siemsen confirming the match win.
It was the second loss in a row Victory has suffered at the hands of a NSW team.
WANDERERS CRACK WIN
Western Sydney Wanderers 2 (Katie Stengel 60’, Paige Nielsen 85’)
Adelaide United 1 (Adriana Jones 62’)

The win they have been waiting for. The new-look Wanderers finally cracked a victory in round three with their defeat of the still winless Adelaide.
Import Paige Nielsen kicked the winner in the 85th after fellow American Katie Stengal opened the scoring.
The Sydney team now just a point outside the top four.
