THE Giants have received a major boost ahead of the NSW Super Netball derby this weekend with four injured players all cleared to take the court against the Swifts at a new city centre venue.

English import Serena Guthrie and Sam Poolman were victims of big hits in the Giants 19-goal victory over the Adelaide Thunderbirds on Sunday.

Both left the court with Guthrie taking a knock to the face and Poolman in the blood bin due to a cut on her nose.

Poolman’s laceration is also healing with shooter Jo Harten also cleared after leaving the court with a cramp.

Captain Kim Green, who was rested as a precaution due to a calf injury, will also be able to train this week.

The Giants, in second place on the league ladder, will host the Swifts at the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour for the first time on Sunday.

It is the first time a netball game has been held at the site.
