Caslick one of five women to make shortlist for Rugby Sevens Player’s Player award

WORLD sevens player of the year Charlotte Calsick has been shortlisted by the Rugby Union Players Association’s for the Rugby Sevens Players’ Player award.

WORLD sevens player of the year Charlotte Calsick has been shortlisted by the Rugby Union Players Association’s for the Rugby Sevens Players’ Player award.

Caslick has been named as a finalist along with Chloe Dalton, Shannon Parry, Emma Tonegato and Amy Turner.

The Australian men’s sevens nominees are Allan Fa’alava’au, Con Foley, Ed Jenkins, Lewis Holland and James Stannard.

Players in both the men’s and women’s teams vote for their team’s most valuable player at the conclusion of each HSBC Sevens World Series tournament.

The first round of the new season will be played in Dubai this week. The Australian women are the defending champions.

The winners will be named at the Rugby Union Players Association lunch in December.
