SHE already owns a world title but this Australian has her sights set on her first Winter Olympic medal.
Today we throw the spotlight on Laura Peel who is hoping to soar to success at her second Winter Games.
OLYMPICS
This is her second appearance at a Winter Olympics. At the first, in Russia four years ago, she finished 7th.

INTERNATIONAL RESULTS
The 28-year-old won a world title in 2015.
She also won a World Cup in 2013 and also won a bronze medal at Lake Placid earlier this year.
HISTORY
In 2015 Peel became only the fourth Australian Aerial Skier ever to win a world championship with her win in Austria.
The same year she was jointly awarded as the Ski & Snowboard Australia Athlete of the Year with Scotty James (Snowboard Halfpipe).

INJURIES
Had ankle surgery just before the last Olympics to repair ankle damage sustained in a crash. Required a second surgery on the injury after the games which required a long rehabilitation.
OTHER STUFF
Like many other aerial skiers Peel used to be a gymnast.
She took up skiing because she wanted a new challenge.
