Wests Tigers signing Zane Musgrove has been charged with a string of serious offences, including one of aggravated indecent assault, after a wild night at the Coogee Bay Hotel last month.

Partygoers were celebrating at the Eastern Suburbs hotspot on Saturday, 24 November when a 22-year-old woman told security guards that she had been indecently assaulted by two men.

Detectives began making inquiries after the woman reported the allegations to officers at Eastern Beaches Police Area Command.

It took police less than two weeks to track down Wests Tigers recruit Zane Musgrove, 22, who was arrested and charged with multiple offences including aggravated indecent assault in company on December 5.

Another man was arrested within one day of Musgrove in connection with the alleged assault.

Both men were granted conditional bail. They will both face Waverley Local Court on 23 January 2019.

The Wests Tigers have promised to work side-by-side with police as investigations continue. The NRL Integrity Unit has also been alerted.

The news comes just 24 hours after Manly star Dylan Walker allegedly assaulted his fiancee outside their Dee Why home, continuing a week of player turmoil for the NRL.
