Billy Smith’s dream showing on Friday night has been marred with the Roosters centre one of three players facing a one game suspension from the two Friday night games.
Smith has been hit with a grade two careless high tackle charge meaning he will miss the match against the Panthers with an early guilty plea. His Roosters teammate Angus Crichton will escape with a $1800 fine for leading with his elbow on Brisbane’s Adam Reynolds.
Brisbane back-rower Jack Gosiewski has been hit with a one game ban for his grade two careless high tackle charge on Victor Radley while Kotoni Staggs has been fined $1800.
Gold Coast’s Brock Gray was charged twice during the Titans’ loss to St George Illawarra. The bench player will pay $1500 for a crusher tackle but he will miss one game for his grade two careless high tackle on Jack de Belin.
