Six people charged over Accor Stadium brawl after Bulldogs v Knights clash
Six people have been charged following a brawl outside Accor Stadium after the Canterbury Bulldogs’ round five win over the Newcastle Knights.

Six people including three women have been charged following a brawl outside Accor Stadium after Canterbury’s win against Newcastle last Sunday night.
Two of the men have been refused bail after two people were assaulted. All six have been banned from attending any Venues NSW ground.
A 21-year-old woman knocked unconscious and a 21-year-old-man also set upon while trying to protect the woman. The woman had to be taken to hospital to treat her injuries. The man walked away unscathed.
Three women - 38, 37, 35 – have been charged in the past two days with the 35 and 37-year-olds arrested and charged with affray at Auburn Police Station. They will attend Burwood Local Court on April 17.
The 38-year-old will also appear in court on the same day after she was charged with common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others. She also attended Auburn Police Station.
Two men – both 21 – were arrested in Bankstown on Friday. They were taken to Bankstown Police Station where they were charged with assault occasioning aggravated bodily harm in company of others and affray. They were refused bail and will face Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
Another 21-year-old man attended St George Police Station where he was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm in company of others. He was granted conditional bail to appear before Sutherland Local Court on Tuesday May 6.
Police released eight images of people they wanted to speak to on Wednesday. Two other people were spoken to by police but have been released without charges.
Police said investigations have now closed. It followed another wild brawl on Friday night.
Five youths aged between 15-17 were sanctioned by police following the incident between South Sydney and Sydney Roosters fans at the same Sydney Olympic Park venue.
They were dealt with under the Young Offenders Act and released after attending Auburn Police Station.
The five teens were also banned from attending any Venues NSW ground which includes Accor Stadium.
