Dylan Napa accused a rival of faking injury to get him sent from the field, giving him an almighty spray as he was banished to the sin bin.

NRL firebrand Dylan Napa gave Jarrod Wallace a tongue lashing during the Titans’ 30-20 win over Canterbury on Saturday afternoon, accusing the Gold Coast prop of overplaying the impact of a high tackle.
Early in the second half the Bulldogs were defending their own line when Napa came across to tackle Wallace, but got his timing wrong and collected the Titans forward on the chin with a loose right arm.

Wallace appealed to the referee for a high tackle penalty before he’d even hit the deck and once he did go to ground, started holding his face and stayed down until the official stopped play.
Napa stood over Wallace and berated him for acting, knowing full well he was in trouble given the NRL’s crackdown on high shots. Wallace remained on his back but Napa kept spraying the Titans star, telling him to get up and play the ball.
The league has introduced strict measures to eradicate head-high tackles from the game and a gutted Napa was sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes for his tackle. After being given his marching orders, he turned to Wallace and gave him another gobful but nothing was going to change the referee’s mind.
Wallace then rubbed salt into the wound, scoring a try from the ensuing set as the Titans made the most of their one-man advantage to take a 24-10 lead with half-an-hour remaining.
The Bulldogs staged a brave second-half comeback to get within four points and put themselves in the hunt to steal victory, but a late try to the Titans sealed their 10-point win.
