There were some incredible individual goalscoring performances on a big opening day of week two at the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships. Relive all the action from the 8 LIVE games.

It’s not a bad effort when you score eight goals in your very first game of the Australian youth water polo championships.

That’s what young gun Sienna Walker did in the Melville Marlins win over AHS Navy in the 16 and under girls gold competition on Sunday.

Walker‘s performance was one of the highlights of a great day of action.

It also helped the Marlins to the emphatic 13–5 victory in their tournament opener.

Another great individual performance was put in by Sydney Northern Beaches Breakers player Lachlan Davies.

Davies scored three goals in the first quarter, one in the second and another two in the third to topscore in his team’s win over Adelaide.

In another strong performance in the girls gold competition, Annabel Waugh scored four goals for the Sydney Uni Lionesses in their 10–3 victory over St Rita’s.

In an all-NSW match between UNSW Wests and the Cronulla Sharks, three players scored three goals each.

Wests won the match with Max Burke-Moore, Joshua Gould and Joel Zipeure scoring a hat-trick each in the 16 and under boys gold tussle.
