The best in the business have been decided at this year’s Pacific Youth Rugby Festival after some frantic grand final action. Watch all 10 deciders in full REPLAY.

Third in their first year, second in their second, now Sydney visitors Oatley are Pacific Youth Rugby Festivals champions after sinking Gold Coast Tonga in U14 boys final.

Tonga scored within three minutes of the start, but the rest of the half belonged to Oatley, who ran in three tries to take a 21-7 lead into the break.

While Tonga closed to within seven points early in the second half, Oatley finished the game off in style, scoring two more tries to win 35-14.

Meanwhile, Queensland Kiwis turned the tables on Gold Coast Tonga to take the U12 title.

Tonga had won the round robin game between the two 12-5 on Saturday, but the Kiwis came out hard in this one, storming to an early 17-0 lead and defying Tonga to run them down.

They nearly did. Three Tonga tries closed the margin to just two points and, with seconds remaining, the game seem destined for extra time when Tonga scored under the posts.

But the resulting conversion was ruled out and the Kiwis took the title.

Earlier, Tonga got off to a flying start with the youngest members of their strong contingent beating Queensland Kiwis 44-7.

Tonga had this U10 decider under control nice and early, racing out to a 17-0 lead within 10 minutes and extending their advantage to 32-0 by halftime.

The Kiwis fought hard and they added some respectability to the scoreline by becoming just the second team to score against Tonga all weekend.

The champion teams will be decided on a massive final day of action at the Pacific Youth Rugby Championships at Albany Creek.

Before the grand final action gets underway, Queensland Kiwis and Queensland Barbarians will clash in the Under-14 girls to determine their final spots for the Festival.

It could set the tone for a big day for the Queensland Kiwis club, who have proven to be the team to beat across several divisions this weekend.

The Kiwis finished Saturday’s action undefeated on top of their respective pools in the Under-16 boys and Under-18 boys, while their Under-16 girls side remained in the title picture.

The Kiwis also appear likely to feature in the Under-14 boys final against NSW raiders Oatley Giants.
