Kicking off on Friday, February 28, the junior finals will start proceedings from 6.30pm before the men’s deciders begin at 5pm on Saturday, March 1.
The women will then round out the action from 11am on Sunday, March 2.
All finals will be played at the home of tennis in SA – The Drive.
“We’re thrilled to partner with KommunityTV to live stream all the action of the State League grand finals weekend,” Tennis SA Head of Tournaments and Competitions Dylan Hicks said.
“This is a huge step in profiling the incredible talent we have here in South Australia.
“The live stream gives us the chance to showcase the skill and dedication of our state league players, putting a well-deserved spotlight on the amazing level of tennis being played right here in our own backyard.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for fans, players, and the community to see just how strong and competitive our local tennis scene is.”
Action will begin on Friday with East Adelaide Payneham and Glenunga doing battle in the junior boys, while East Torrens Kensington Gardens takes on Seacliff in the junior girls.
State League men’s deciders hit the courts on Saturday as Trinity Gardens faces Peake Gardens Riverside.
Finally, The Drive and Seacliff close out the weekend in the women’s grand finals on Sunday.
The pinnacle of the competitions pathway in South Australia, the State League is a weekly fixture played over the summer season with SA’s highest level players competing for titles while the winning teams receive prize money and the prestige of being the best club team in the state.
“We’re incredibly grateful to KommunityTV and NewsCorp for their investment in grassroots sports and their support in bringing our state league players to a wider audience,” Tennis SA CEO Debbie Sterrey said.
“This partnership allows us to showcase the talent of our athletes and inspire the next generation of tennis stars to get involved in the sport.
“We’re also excited to host this event at The Drive, Adelaide’s premier tennis and event venue, where players will compete on three championship-sized courts under the roof. It’s the perfect setting to highlight the skill of our players and create an unforgettable experience for all involved.”
