They were some of the stars of the show at the Australian athletics junior track and field championships in Queensland last weekend.

Now these young guns are expected to be among the standouts at the Little Athletics Australian titles in Melbourne.

In a busy week for the young guns of the sport, a big group of athletes will represent Little Athletics NSW at the annual championships, which are for the first time being live streamed on KommunityTV across the competition.

Thanks to a partnership between NewsCorp Australia and Little Athletics Australia, every race on the track and a great mix of field events will be live streamed into lounge rooms across Australia.

The KommunityTV coverage will see two simultaneous streams – one for track, the other for the field – across the two days of competition.

It will all start on Friday with the opening ceremony at 3.25pm followed by the legends of the sport being inducted into the Little Athletics Hall of Fame from 6.50pm.

The powerhouse Athletics NSW team made a real mark at the Australian junior championships with numerous teenagers rewarded for their hard world and dedication with national crowns.

Now they will hit the track and field in Melbourne in an attempt to bring home more gold for their state.

We look at some of the athletes to watch from the NSW team competing across the three championships which make up the Melbourne meet.

NSW athletes will compete in the Australian teams championships, the Australian junior athletics championships and in combined events for U15s.
