Australia’s future Olympians are set to take centre stage and you can watch them grow before our eyes.

The country’s next generation of athletics stars will descend on Melbourne’s Lakeside Stadium for the Australian Little Athletics Championships next weekend, and you’ll be able to capture all the gold medal-winning moments live.

Thanks to a partnership between NewsCorp Australia and Little Athletics Australia, every race on the track and a great mix of field events will be live streamed into lounge rooms across Australia.

There will be two simultaneous streams - one for track, the other for the field - across the two days.

It will all start on Friday night when legends of the sport are inducted into the Little Athletics Hall of Fame, with the ceremony set to be live streamed by KommunityTV.

Competition is sure to be exciting.

Little Athletics Australia chief Myles Foreman expressed his excitement at the new deal.

“The partnership with News Corp Australia and the KommunityTV team is part of Coles Little Athletics Australia’s commitment to grow awareness of Little Athletics nationally,” he said.

“The 2023 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships and Little Athletics Australia Hall of Fame Ceremony are key events on Little Athletics annual calendar. Through this partnership we will, for the first time, be exclusively live streaming, via KTV, the opening and closing ceremonies, the Hall of Fame Ceremony and the two days of competition with enhancements to dedicated track and field streams.

“Combining News Corp editorial coverage of the event together with KommunityTV’s exclusive live streaming of the action, ensures Little Athletics will reach a broader audience and raise awareness of what Little Athletics has to offer, while offering an expanded and

enhanced streaming service for members of the Little Athletics community nationally”.

News Sport Network managing director Michael Wilkins said KommunityTV was thrilled to partner with Little Athletics Australia for the national championships.
