The off-season changes have been confirmed for every Tasmanian Netball League club ahead of the opening round this Saturday. See the full list of moves and the squads for every club here.

Replay: Northern Hawks v Cavaliers (Opens) — Tasmanian Netball League grand finals

While it’s been a league largely dominated by the two northern powerhouses of Tasmanian netball, the 2025 TNL season has the potential to be one of the closest in competition history.

That’s due to a busy off-season across every club, with both major departures and exciting inclusions across the course of the off-season.

With a massive live streamed opening round set to kickstart the extended 21-round season this Saturday, KommunityTV has touched base with every club to get the low-down on their off-season changes, makeup of their squads and their goals heading into the new campaign.

CAVALIERS

The goal is clear to the Cavaliers in season 2025 – to go one step better. After going down to the Hawks in the grand final, last season’s runner-up have produced a squad that is formidable across all three areas of the court. Deanna Wadley’s return is one of the feel good stories, after missing all of last year with a serious knee injury.

CRIPPS

There will be plenty of youthful exuberance in the Cripps squad this season with two-thirds of the team under 21 and none over 25. It’s a great opportunity to create an identity for the long-term after bowing out in the elimination final to Kingston last year.
