New champions will be crowned and history will be made as the top Sydney Catholic schools face off in the Winter sports conference finals.

The top schools will face off on the netball courts and the football fields to decide conference champions across Sydney.

The action will be available to watch LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on KommunityTV on Thursday across eight different venues.

The coverage follows KommunityTV’s exclusive live streaming of the Sydney Catholic School’s Autumn conference finals in April.

Netball powerhouse Mount Saint Joseph, Milperra will be hoping to sweep the conference four finals, while Marist College, Eastwood will be aiming to claim their first conference two conference title after last year’s heartbreak.

A new title will be also contested this year, with two schools joining up to create a mixed netball final in conference two.

“Holy Cross Ryde have combined with Marist Woolwich to form mixed teams, that’s never been done before,” Sydney Catholic School’s Sean Mullaly said.

“It only started off as a small thing this year, but it will definitely grow.”

The conference three intermediate boys soccer finals are set to be hotly contested, with Aquinas Menai and Marist Kogorah battling just to make the final.

“The top four teams after the season all had four wins, one draw and two losses,” Mullaly said.
