Rain didn’t deter our hockey talents as Illawarra South Coast and Tamworth went head for the second last game of the day.

Good positioning from Illawarra South Coast and an uptick in intensity helped secure a first goal by Chloe Barton.

A wet field indeed could be a secret asset for Illawarra, with the team playing a lot smarter in the second quarter, securing a second goal thanks to stellar teamwork from Lucinda Nash and Lilly Twigg.
