A seesawing girls clash between Western Australia Metro and NSW Metro was one of the highlights of Court One action.

Metro claimed a 74-71 win as captain Keira Robinson exploded with 24 points.

While her offensive output which stood out it was a game-high seven steals which would have pleased the WA coaching staff most.

Robinson was the only player for her side in double figures as Emma Lukell led the way in a losing side with 13 points.

To start the day, Clara Kolb and Isabel Smith combined for 48 points for Queensland North to lead their side to a big win over Tasmania.

DAY THREE PREVIEW

This wouldn’t look out of place as a final - and it may yet be next Sunday.

It’s the clash of the titans when Queensland South girls take on Victoria Metro on Court 1 at 2pm on Monday.

Both teams could not have been more impressive than they were on day one - Queensland South blowing away ACT by close to 100 points and Vic Metro answering with a comfortable win of their own over WA Metro.

The key for Vic Metro will be containing Olivia Olechnowicz. The rising star contributed 38 points in just 20 minutes of action against ACT.

She was well supported by Mya Moke and defensive rock Violet Johnson.

The day tips off with the 10am girls contest between Tasmania and Queensland North. With Matilda Neate in superb form with 28 points, Tassie pushed aside WA Country on Sunday by 43 points.

And in a big day for the girls, WA Metro will be looking to bounce back from a big first-up loss when they play NSW Metro at midday.

The day finishes with two boys games. First at 4pm it’s SA Metro against WA Country before SA Country take on NSW Country.
