BEST BET
MORNINGTON GLORY (R8 No.5 – $3)
The Oakleigh Plate placegetter bounced back in a big way with a 3¾-length win at The Valley last start. That was on a Soft 6 track but his form is better on dry ground, which is a possibility if the rain stays away. The six-year-old gelding is unbeaten in three starts over 1000m, two of them at the track.

NEXT BEST
MANOLO BLING (R4 No.1 – $4.60)
Manolo Bling was an impressive debut winner over 1100m at Caulfield last month despite a wide run. Expect her to improve stepping up to 1200m and she could even lead from barrier one with no natural leader in the field.
VALUE BET
JENNILALA (R7 No.3 – $8.50)
Jennilala has drawn the widest gate but she should have no trouble finding the front and will be hard to hold out. Ciaron Maher will have her primed with her first-up record three wins and a second from four attempts.
THE JOCKEY
Jamie Kah has a ride in eight of the nine races, four of them are favourite.
DASHING DUCHESS (R1 No.4 – $1.90), LAST DRUID (R2 No.4 – $5.50), LAVALIER (R3 No.3 – $6.50), PHOTOGRAPH (R4 No.3 – $4), LAUDING (R5 No.6 – $5.50), RISE TO IT (R5 No.16e – $6.50), SEA WHAT I SEE (R7 No.9 – $2.90), BOLD BASTILLE (R8 No.9 – $2.80), RAIKOKE (R9 No.4 – $3.80).
