Athanatos chased home the smart Daggers, who franked the form at The Valley, second-up and will only be improved.

HURRICANE GEORGIE (Race 2 No. 5 – $2.70)

Hurricane Georgie was no match for an easy winner on debut but should relish 1400m with the benefit of race experience.
