Australia pulled off a record chase of 293 for victory – and that barely tells a tenth of the story, as Glenn Maxwell spearheaded one of the most remarkable comeback wins in World Cup history.

He was ably supported by skipper Pat Cummins, but this truly was a 10 out of 10 performance on a night where Australia looked headed for a disastrous defeat which would’ve jeopardised their semi-final chances.
