Controversial AFL icon Warwick Capper’s rollercoaster career has taken another twist with his latest venture raising eyebrows.

Footy icon Warwick Capper’s rollercoaster career has taken another twist, with the former high-flyer taking ownership of the Westminster Secrets brothel in Oakleigh, in Melbourne’s southeast.

The move comes as Victoria gradually decriminalises sex work, declaring it is real work, first adding anti-discrimination protections for sex workers and repealing offences for those in the industry in 2022, before on December 1 repealing several past acts.

It’s an industry Capper knows well, as after becoming famous for wearing tight shorts and riding around in pink helicopters during his AFL run at Sydney and Brisbane, he starred in an adult film and claimed to make money as a male escort.

“The secret’s out. Warwick’s back in town, for all your needs,” he told Seven.

“We spent a couple hundred grand on the place and it looks brand new now.

“Bit like McDonalds. Let’s have a Big Mac - one with the lot. Tell ‘em Wizard Capper sent you, with the new teeth and the tight shorts.”

Capper said he plans to make an appearance at the brothel once or twice a month holding a barbecue for clients.

“I’ve got some great ads and promos lined up where I’m dressed as a pimp daddy,” Capper told the Herald Sun.

“In another one I’m dressed as 007 and I’ve got the catch cry, it won’t make you James Bond but it will make you Roger Moore …. Get it?”

He added: “The place is shit hot, it’s been refurbished and has a pole, which I will make great use of and a spa.

“It’s great, I’ll be bringing all my sport mates here who I know like to frequent such places. There will be a long line out the door, you just wait and see.”

But the AFL icon isn’t stopping at just one, he plans on taking his new venture and turning it into an empire.

“If Warwick has his way, he’ll be taking his brothel empire national, and he’s already scouting for new locations,” he said.

“I’m big in Tassie and Adelaide, City of Churches.”
