Rage Trades: Who needs to go and who to bring in for your SuperCoach Grand Final
IF YOU have any trades left, you have to use them this week. Which means any underperformers can hit the exit. But who should we bring in for the SuperCoach Grand Final?
Supercoach
Don't miss out on the headlines from Supercoach. Followed categories will be added to My News.
ALL of the ups and downs through the season have led us all to here.
Last season, I was still a genuine chance of making the top 10 overall leading into the final round before finishing 15th in the end; however this season I’m just hoping to sneak into the top 1000.

Some of you have been lucky enough to make a Grand Final, but whatever your aim this week, hopefully you have been able to save a trade or two for this final round!
It’s an interesting week to be trading. There’s no point saving your trades beyond this week.
Obviously, the first priority is avoiding any zeros on the field, however if you aren’t facing any in your team this week, then there’s never a better time to do a luxury trade or two!
And with just one game to play looking at players’ form against specific opponents is extremely relevant (check out the ticket at TooSerious.net which is broken down by position).
A few good options are listed below.
Good luck to all of you who are in Grand Finals or chasing the prizemoney.
BOOT HIM
Tom Rockliff
So many of us were wooed by his mid-season surge in form (and bargain price tag), only to be let down with not a score over 90 since Round 16. Unfortunately, many have been stuck with him with minimal trades available, but if you’ve got the chance, now you can safely use one of your last trades to send him packing.
Christian Petracca
After a terrible start to the season, relative to expectations, he has shown some good patches of form at times and has been genuinely up and down since Round 15, however his last two games have resulted in scores of 76 and 54. It really is now or never if you want to finally trade him out.
Toby McLean
Has only achieved two scores over 90 since Round 10, after he had scored nine scores over 90 in those first 10 rounds. Was worth holding through the season, but you could probably do better for the last round.
Alex Witherden
In 5 per cent of teams and has already been confirmed out injured for Round 23.
BUY HIM
Matt Crouch
Has scored over 100 in seven of his last eight games, including the past five straight. Scored 131 this week and is facing Carlton next week, who have been leaking points to midfielders this season.
Gary Ablett
Plays against his old side the Gold Coast for the first time this week. Midfielders have been scoring really well against the Suns lately and Gaz has also been in top form, scoring over 110 in five of his past six games.
Sam Menegola
Gold Coast have also been leaking lots of points to forwards this season too, and Menegola is a good candidate to eat up those points following his form this season where he has scored over 100 for the past five games straight.
David Mundy
Has scored over 100 in six of his past seven games, including each of the past four games and comes up against Collingwood this week who forwards have done well against this season.
Stefan Martin
Hot off a score of 133 and coming up against a NicNat-less Eagles team who just gave up 150-plus points to Max Gawn this week.
Lance Franklin
The Hawks are a tough opponent but Buddy is a SuperCoach finals specialist. Can he go massive again?
Buddy is on fire! He has kicked 17 goals in his past two Rnd 23 games, scoring 136 and 183 #SuperCoach points. @championdata

NAILED IT
Dan Begala: Patrick Cripps to score 150-plus.
FAILED IT: After Tom Mitchell struggled with a 108, I actually locked in Cripps as my captain this week, only to be let down with a 106, nowhere near 150.
Al Paton: Max Gawn to score 120-plus.
NAILED IT: C’mon Al, you didn’t exactly go out on a limb as Gawn has averaged more than 120 all season, but he certainly nailed it with a huge 156!
