Dayne Zorko's 'smelly' barb for Touk Miller, but is he AFL's biggest sook?

THERE’S yet another chapter to the simmering feud between Brisbane captain Dayne Zorko and Gold Coast tagger Touk Miller, with the latest QClash bust up leading to one media commentator calling him a sook. What did Zorko have to say about Miller?

THERE’S another chapter to the feud between Brisbane captain Dayne Zorko and Gold Coast tagger Touk Miller.

Zorko refused to shake Miller’s hand after the Suns shocked the Lions during the Round 5 QClash.

It led to Miller claiming he had the “mental edge” over the gun midfielder.

Then, on Saturday night, the pair had a heated exchange following the final siren, Zorko making a beeline for Miller and getting in his face, shaking his hand a number of times.

AFL great Brad Johnson labelled Zorko’s actions ‘a disaster’.

But there’s more to the story.

Earlier in the match, Zorko was seen animatedly wafting a smell away from his face after another run-in with Miller.

Asked by Fox Sports boundary rider Ben Dixon about the incident he responded with this: “He smells mate, sorry, he got in my face a bit and I was like whoa,” referring to Miller.

It’s all led to Jay Clark labelling Zorko the AFL’s “most-sooky player” on the SuperFooty Podcast.

“I see this sort of post-siren behaviour and there’s just a bit of sooky there,” Clarky said.

“I hated what he did with Touk Miller.

“The siren goes, you put your arm on your opponent's shoulder and you say ‘mate, well played today’ and you shake his hand and you move on.

“You don’t swear at him, you don’t try to embarrass or belittle him, fake handshakes.

“Dayne Zorko is a brilliant player, but this sort of stuff brings him down.”
