If Adelaide bounces back from a disappointing 2018 it could be the SuperCoach bargain house of the year, with four underpriced stars starring in the Crows’ first JLT hitout.
Brad Crouch missed all of last season with a groin injury, Brodie Smith (knee) played just two games while Matt Crouch and Rory Sloane were well below their best.

If today’s pre-season win against Port Adelaide is anything to go by, they are all set to return to their best — which is great news in SuperCoach.
For Port Adelaide the key interest was in the club’s rookie stocks, with top-20 draft picks Connor Rozee, Xavier Duursma and Zak Butters all on display. Butters was the clear standout while $117,300 forward Willem Drew did enough to demand another look in the Power’s next JLT match.
Here are four players who caught our eye — scroll down to see every SuperCoach score.
BRAD CROUCH $418,000 MID — 118 POINTS
The game’s top-scorer just needs to keep his body in one piece to be a bargain selection in the midfield. That’s harder than it sounds; Crouch has been dogged by a string of injuries over his career but has shown when he gets on the park, he can score — his last four senior games were in 2017 when he scored 138, 120, 110 and 99.
RORY SLOANE $524,300 MID — 88 POINTS
Sloane’s 2018 season was symptomatic of his team, battling to a 97 average, his lowest since 2011. He had 20 disposals by halftime today before easing off in the second half, playing just 67 per cent of the game. Expect him to revert to his usual high-scoring ways this year, which equals SuperCoach value.
BRODIE SMITH $332,500 DEF — 103 POINTS
Another severely underpriced Crow who gave a hint of his scoring potential when he returned from a knee injury for two games at the end of last season and scored 129 in one of them. The only problem is he scored 46 in the other, illustrating the inconsistency that has plagued him throughout his career. Are you brave enough?
ZAK BUTTERS $157,800 MID — 91 POINTS
Connor Rozee was the hot Port Adelaide draftee going into this game but the 12th pick last November was outstanding, gathering 25 disposals, second only to Travis Boak at the Power. In the under-18 last year he showed he could make his touches count, rating elite for score involvements and intercept possessions.
