Port Adelaide defender Kane Farrell will spend the next four to six weeks on the sidelines after scans revealed he required knee surgery.
Already licking its wounds after a thrilling Showdown loss the Power will now lose Farrell – important to its ball movement off half-back – for at least a month.
Farrell complained of knee soreness towards the end of the Power’s loss to Adelaide on Saturday night and scans have revealed that he needs a clean out of his knee.
