The influx of southern money to the region has triggered a wave of mega property deals across the Sunshine Coast in the past two years.

Many of these have set new records in the 100-plus suburbs that make up the region.

While there are reports of the market cooling around the region after what has been several years of incredible growth spurred by the pandemic it hasn’t stopped the flow of sizeable purchases with several bumper buys made in the past month.

We’ve scoured property records to compile a list of some of the heftiest price tags for residential properties across the region and the names behind these deals.

We’ve tried to stick to ‘traditional’ homes wherever possible in the list, although it’s fair to say a lot of these mansions are anything but traditional.
