Kate and Anthony Golle top North Coast property buys in summer

A prominent anti-vax couple have paid big bucks for a new pad in Casuarina while a multimillion-dollar pad has been snapped up by a Hemsworth at Emerald Beach. See the list.

House prices soar across the country

The buyer of a multimillion-dollar North Coast hideaway is a Hemsworth, but not the one you’re thinking of.

It certainly looks like a house fit for a movie star with 100-year old reclaimed bridge timbers greeting guests at the front door and chocolate porcelain flooring.

The apartment in Emerald Beach sold for $2,320,000 just before Christmas last year, however, neither Hollywood stars Chris nor Liam were the buyers.

Instead, the son of a trucking and haulage company owner Ben Hemsworth is moving his family up from Sydney.

The new owners have paid a pretty penny for it but don’t look like they’ll be giving up the golf clubs anytime soon after Joan’s name was added to the Byron Bay Ladies Champions board after winning the 27-hole tournament in June last year.
