Sydney has come off its third “super Saturday” of auctions in a row, with more than 900 properties going under the hammer.

It was the biggest day of auctions since late March and one of the highest volumes of auctions recorded for a week in November for years, according to CoreLogic data.

The bumper auction activity has helped moderate the ongoing boom in prices and given buyers more choice, but it remains a seller’s market and vendors still scored big prices in many instances.
