There is a feline in the air that Premier Gladys Berejiklian will retain government after tomorrow’s election.
The leader of the NSW Coalition was the favourite in two paw polls conducted by favourites among the Telegraph’s Meow 100.
Bengal cat King Caesar was a loyal subject to Ms Berejiklian despite protest from owner Lydia Nemcich.
“He is very loyal to Gladys,” Mrs Nemcich said after King Caesar chose a bowl of food in front of Ms Berejiklian over one in front of Michael Daley.
“I said ‘Caesar there is more food in the other bowl but he didn’t look at it.”
Mrs Nemcich said the decision had divided the family.
“My husband is happy so he can stick with my husband’s vote,” she said.

“I was annoyed because we have two kids and the aircon in my daughter’s class has been broken since the start of the school year but no he went for Gladys straight away.
“What you hear about stadiums and how she is not fixing schools and hospitals but he went straight for her.”
Hawaiian shirt wearing cat, Michael from the Manly Vet, also went chose the bowl in front of the premier.
“I’m not sure if it means anything because he will do pretty much anything for food,” vet nurse Michelle Thelander said.
“If he finished that bowl he would move on to (Mr Daley’s).”
Ms Thelander said Michael was the “superstar” of the vet clinic.
“He is very loving and very smoochy — everyone loves him,” she said.
“Even the dogs love him.”
