Zane Beach: Personal trainer fronts court on drug supply charges

A personal trainer from Sydney’s south-west has been back before the courts after allegedly being found with large commercial quantities drugs along with more than $100,000 in cash and a baton.

A personal trainer from Sydney’s south-west has faced court after he was allegedly found with stashes of MDMA, GBL, cocaine and heroin and more than $100,000 in cash.

Zane Beach, 29, appeared in Burwood Local Court via AVL facing a raft of charges related to drug dealing including supplying a large commercial quantity of MDMA, cocaine and GBL.

Strike Force Raptor detectives arrested Beach at his Greenacre home in February where they allegedly seized $104,900 suspected to be the proceeds of crime, quantities of cocaine and GBL, mobile phones and a baton.

Police alleged in court documents allege he supplied 53.55kg of GBL, 268.1g of heroin, 192.8g of cocaine, and 22.46g of MDMA on February 12 in Greenacre as well as supplying 528.4g of MDMA last March.

He was also charged for possessing quantities of MDMA and cannabis.

In a brief court appearance Beach, who has not entered any pleas, was certified on charges including supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs, dealing with the proceeds of crime, possessing a prohibited weapon and ammunition without a permit.

One of his three counts of supplying a prohibited drug of a large commercial quantity was dropped.

Beach’s matter will return to court on October 7 for committal.

He remains in custody on remand.
