In a major bonus for clubs, some of NSW cricket’s best and brightest have been released to their clubs for match play this weekend.
NSW team management late this week advised clubs of the availability status of a number of their players for the first day of round two of NSW Premier Cricket.

There is an expectation all players listed will also be available to play next weekend.
“Most of the guys will be playing,’’ said NSW coach Phil Jaques.

“It will be really good preparation for the guys going over to Adelaide.
“It will strengthen Premier cricket and give us some good match practice.’’
Some of the contracted players free to return on Saturday include Kurtis Patterson and Moise Henriques (St George), Peter Neville (Eastern Suburbs), Harry Conway (Eastern Suburbs), Daniel Hughes (Mosman) and Matt Gilkes (UNSW).
NSW players will this month head to Adelaide to prepare for their opening matches of the Sheffield Shield against Victoria.
