Paddington: Man charged over allegedly sexually touching woman who mistook his car for ride-share
A man has been charged with allegedly sexually touching a teenager. Police say the female had mistakenly hopped in the man’s car believing it was a ride-share vehicle she had ordered.

A woman was allegedly sexually touched multiple times after entering a car which she mistook for a ride-share vehicle.
About 11pm on October 28, an 18-year-old woman entered a car on Glenmore Rd, Paddington.
During the journey, the driver allegedly sexually touched her multiple times. The 18-year-old then reported the alleged offences to police.
Following an investigation, police officers arrested a 41-year-old man at a home on Acacia Ave, Greenacre, on Tuesday.
The 41-year-old man was taken to Bankstown Police Station and charged with four counts of sexually touch another person without consent.
He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Thursday December 1 2022.
