Usually it is the Bondi hoarders against the world – but police will allege members of the Bobolas family have turned on each other as two members of the household were charged with domestic assault.
Elena, Mary and Liana Bobolas have waged a long war with Waverley Council and their neighbours over the constantly accumulating hoard of possessions at their Boonara Ave home.
Police will allege the fights have become personal, with Liana charged with assaulting her mother Mary – and Mary charged with assaulting her other daughter Elena.
Court documents reveal Liana spent a night in custody in February 2020 after she was charged with assaulting her mother and contravening an AVO at their Bondi home on February 22.
Liana was granted bail the next day at Parramatta Local Court and will next face Waverley Local Court on September 16.
She has pleaded not guilty to both charges.
More recently, Mary was charged with domestic common assault against her other daughter Elena at their home on August 5.
Mary will also face Waverley Local Court on September 10 where she will be required to enter pleas.
Mary is now subject to an AVO to protect Elena, while Liana is subject to an AVO to protect Mary.
Meanwhile, Elena was scheduled to face Downing Centre Local Court earlier this week charged with using offensive language in a public place and failing to leave court premises as required by a security officer.
She did not attend court on Wednesday and was instead convicted in her absence and fined a total of $1000.
