A new dessert bar is set to open in a five-storey building beachfront location at Bondi.
Developers have unvieled plans to build The Bondi Beach Dessert Bar at 124-126 Campbell Parade on Bondi Beach.
A planner for the project, LK Planning, said the new dessert bar would open late into the night to attract sweet-tooths, and would replace a plan to see a Gelato Bar open at the site.
The new proposal aims to extend trading hours from 7am to 11.30pm daily.
“This dessert bar offering is predominantly a night time business, with the majority of sales occurring after 7pm to 11pm, therefore it is critical for the business that hours are allowed to be extended for a 1 year trial basis,” the planner said.
The developer said the Bondi Beach Dessert Bar would provide a family-friendly, non-alcoholic food and beverage alternative on the famous Bondi strip.
