Murrumbidgee police are appealing for public assistance after an alleged indecent assault on a woman in a Griffith supermarket.

Murrumbidgee police are appealing for public assistance after a woman was allegedly indecently assaulted at a Griffith supermarket.
The incident occurred about 12.50pm on Wednesday, with police told the woman was shopping at a supermarket on Oakes Rd when an unknown man approached her from behind and allegedly touched her inappropriately.
The 61-year-old woman confronted the man, who then left the store.
Officers from the Murrumbidgee Police District were notified have started an investigation.
As part of their inquiries, police have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with the investigation.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s or 40s, about 180cm-185cm tall, of medium build, with short brown hair.
He was wearing a brown long-sleeved T-shirt, beige pants with black pocket flaps and dark brown work boots and was carrying a black backpack.
