A beauty therapist has fronted court after threatening her partner with a golf club and ripping his hair out after he refused to leave her bedroom.

Jazmine Freeman, 22, pleaded guilty to common assault on Tuesday in Wagga Local Court after the fight with the man earlier this year.

The court heard the relationship between Freeman, who shares a child with him, and the man had been under stress for some time.

Police facts state, on May 13, the couple did not speak for the day after fighting about the relationship and when the victim returned home, he went into the bedroom to see Freeman and refused to leave.

She attempted to remove the victim after becoming increasingly frustrated by his presence, by pulling their hair and ripping it from his scalp, according to court documents.

The victim started filming Freeman while she had her hands around his neck while yelling for him to “get out”.

The court documents state she then picked up a golf club and said ‘give me the phone. If you want a reason to call the police, I’ll give you a reason’ and hit the victim in the leg.

After this altercation, she threw the golf club at the victim, picked up a large knife from the kitchen, walked to the bedroom and threatened to harm herself while asking him if he wanted to watch.

She was sentenced to community corrections order (CCO) for 12 months with supervision.
