A 55-year-old Sydney man allegedly sexually touched a seven-year-old girl in a train carriage while she was travelling from Wagga to Sydney.

A 55-year-old Sydney man has been refused bail after allegedly sexually touching a seven-year-old girl travelling on a regional train from Wagga to Sydney last week.
The Haymarket man was charged with intentionally sexually touch child under 10 years, procure child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity, and three counts of goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (not motor vehicle).
A seven-year-old girl boarded a regional passenger train at Wagga railway station and began travelling to Sydney with a 64-year-old woman about 1.10pm last Friday.
While on the train, they were approached by the man unknown to them who began making conversation.
He then allegedly sexually touched the girl before leaving the carriage.
Once the woman and child arrived at Central train station, the incident was reported to police and officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Comman began investigating
In a search of the 55-year-old man, officers allegedly located fraudulent identification documents, which were seized for forensic examination.
He was arrested two days later about 4.10pm on Sunday at George St, Haymarket.
The man was taken to Day Street police station where he was refused bail.
He will appear at Central Local Court on Monday.
